Hello everyone, I’m Dong from ApparelX Global.

I attended the IRIS exhibition and would like to share my impressions.

Overall, the exhibition was very interesting, and I learned a lot.

The exhibition had many categories, such as menswear/womenswear, based on clothing style, tone, and more.

Buttons may be small, but there are many kinds. As a fashion designer said, just by changing the buttons, the whole style can become completely different.

I remember once reading an interview with a designer who said that when she had no money as a student, she would buy clothes from cheap fast-fashion stores like Uniqlo, and then make the clothes feel different by changing the buttons.

At this exhibition, two things left a particularly deep impression on me.

First, it showed the process of making buttons from different materials. This left a deep impression on me, and I learned a lot from it. It gave me a better understanding of buttons.

Second, IRIS is committed to environmental protection. Discarded buttons are used to make very delicate and beautiful earrings.

In recent years, earrings made from clothing buttons have become popular. If you’re interested, be sure to check out this IRIS collection.

Discarded buttons are also used as recycled materials and repurposed in many places. Seeing this made me truly realize that IRIS is indeed a large company.

IRIS holds an exhibition every year and also has a button museum. Anyone interested should definitely pay a visit.
