Summer 2026: August Operating Schedule

Dear ApparelX Global Members,

It is that time of year again, and Japan’s Obon holiday season is approaching.

Obon is a traditional Japanese holiday period when many people return to their hometowns and spend time with their families. During this period, many manufacturers, suppliers, and transportation companies also suspend or reduce their operations.

Please find the ApparelX business schedule below.

Business Schedule

Friday, August 7:  Normal business hours

Saturday, August 8 – Sunday, August 9: Closed

Monday, August 10: Normal business hours

Tuesday, August 11: Closed for a Japanese national holiday

Wednesday, August 12: Normal business hours

Thursday, August 13 – Friday, August 14: Closed for the summer holidays

Monday, August 17: Normal business hours resume

Please note that all dates and times are based on Japan Standard Time .

Although ApparelX will be open on August 10 and August 12, many of our manufacturers and suppliers will be closed for the Obon holidays. Therefore, stock availability checks and shipments of supplier-stock items may be handled from Monday, August 17 onward.

In addition, deliveries and shipments may be delayed due to the operating schedules of manufacturers and transportation companies.

The estimated shipping dates displayed on each product page will be updated according to the above schedule. However, actual shipment dates may change due to transportation conditions or other unforeseen circumstances. If there is any significant delay, our team will contact you directly.
