Hello. I’m Kayaba from the ApparelX division.
Today, I’d like to introduce some non-Japanese jersey textiles that were recently added to ApparelX.
LANIFICIO ROMA is an Italian textile manufacturer founded in 1956.
They produce everything from knits to woven fabrics, and while making use of their accumulated know-how, they are constantly working to develop new materials.
Their technical capabilities are reflected in the many trademarks held by Roma, and in recent years they have also been actively using recycled materials and reducing their environmental impact.
Now, let’s take a look right away.
All of the materials introduced here are jacquard jersey made with recycled cotton.
By using mottle yarn for the yarn, the patterns have a three-dimensional feel.
Jersey textiles usually raise concerns about knee bagging, but this series has excellent resilience and a high-quality feel that resists losing its shape, so it can be used not only for jackets but also for pants.
It is also recommended for chic golf fairs and the like.

This is houndstooth.

This is sharkskin.

This has a slightly more complex pattern, unique to jacquard.

This is a slightly larger houndstooth pattern.
All product numbers use basic colors such as navy blue, gray, and beige, with black thread used to express the pattern, giving them a very chic look.
What did you think?
I think a jersey jacket made with this kind of fabric would have just the right relaxed feel and look great. Paired with denim and a turtleneck, a jersey jacket made from this fabric would be nice, wouldn’t it?
I ended up looking at it purely from a men’s perspective, but I hope you’ll consider it.
