I Went to the Exhibition! (2) Uni Textile 21SS Products

I attended a textile exhibition hosted by COSMO TEXTILE and Uni Textile. I’d like to share what I learned there and my impressions. Previously, I wrote my impressions of COSMO TEXTILE in I Went to the Exhibition! (1) COSMO TEXTILE 21SS Products, but this time I’d like to share my impressions of Uni Textile’s exhibition.

First Impressions

When I entered Uni Textile’s venue, my first impressions were that there was a wide variety of textiles and that the textiles were stylish. Not only were they neatly arranged by application and material, but sample products were also placed next to each hanger rack, which made it easy to imagine the end use of each textile.

Looking at each textile in detail, there were many that made me think, “I want clothes made from this textile!” I am very grateful to Mr. Tsuda, who explained many things to me.

Below, I would like to introduce several memorable textiles.

Feminish Desin

First, I’d like to introduce the Feminish Desin series. For example, KKF1400MV Feminish Desin sweat-absorbing, SR-finished not only has beautiful luster as shown in the photos below, but also offers excellent functionality. KKF1400 is a polyester material with wash durability that achieves sweat absorption and SR (soil removal) performance through processing by Komatsu Matere Co., Ltd. I think its sweat absorption and soil removal features are appealing for Ladies.

Espandy

This is a material from the Espandy series using Espandy yarn. It expresses comfortable stretch and a soft hand, so it is recommended for use in outerwear, tops, jackets, underwear, dresses, skirts, and more. For me, I have no resistance to this kind of sparkling material. In my imagination, fairy clothes are always like this: light and sheer.

Medium-Weight Material

Lastly, I’d like to explain Uni Textile’s medium-weight materials. Medium-weight means materials with stretch or high density that are less sheer and not too heavy. Because they have a moderate thickness, I think they are ideal for outerwear and pants. As an aside, I think the Japanese expression that describes textile thickness using “meat” is a very vivid expression. As shown in the photos below.
