I Went to the Exhibition! (2) Uni Textile 21SS Products

I participated in the textile exhibition held by COSMO TEXTILE and Uni Textile. I’d like to share what I learned there and my impressions. Last time, I wrote my impressions of COSMO TEXTILE in I Went to the Exhibition! (1) COSMO TEXTILE 21SS Products, and this time I’d like to share my impressions of Uni Textile’s exhibition.

First Impressions

When I entered Uni Textile’s venue, my first impressions were that there was a wide variety of textiles and that the fabrics were stylish. Not only were the fabrics neatly displayed by application and material, but sample products were also placed beside each hanger rack, which made it easy to imagine how the fabrics would be used.

When I looked at each fabric in detail, there were many that made me think, “I want clothes made from this fabric!” I’m very grateful to Mr. Tsuda, the person in charge, for explaining so many things to me.

Below, I’d like to introduce a few memorable fabrics.

Feminish Deshin

First, I’d like to introduce the Feminish Deshin series. For example, KKF1400MV Feminish Deshin sweat-absorbing and SR-treated material not only has a beautiful sheen as shown in the photos below, but also offers excellent functionality. KKF1400 is a polyester material with wash durability that achieves sweat absorption and SR (soil release) performance through Komatsu Material Co., Ltd.’s processing. I think its sweat-absorbing and stain-removing features are very appealing for Ladies.

Espandi

This is a material from the Espandi series using Espandi thread. It expresses comfortable stretch and a soft hand, so it is recommended for outerwear, tops, jackets, underwear, dresses, skirts, and more. For me, I have no resistance to this kind of sparkling material. In my imagination, fairy garments are always like this: light and sheer.

Medium-Weight Material

Lastly, I’d like to explain Uni Textile’s medium-weight materials. “Medium-weight” refers to materials that have stretch or a high density, are not see-through, and are not too heavy. Because they have just the right thickness, I think they are ideal for outerwear and pants as well. By the way, I think the Japanese expression that describes fabric thickness in terms of meat is a very vivid one. As shown in the photos below.
