Hello, this time I will write about my experience with inventory counting at Okura Shoji’s Saitama Distribution Center.
I have worked at the company for three years, but this was my first visit to a distribution center.
Regarding orders for products stocked at the Saitama Distribution Center, they are always delivered from Tokyo headquarters after being ordered through the center, so I had several exchanges with the center during the week.
When I went to the warehouse for the first time for the inventory count, I was amazed by its vast space and the large number of products stored there.
The products are managed by area, and I was able to see firsthand how they are stored.
The timing of my visit happened to be in spring, and rapeseed flowers were blooming near the warehouse.
During lunch break, I walked through the rapeseed flower field and enjoyed the beautiful scenery.
Through this experience, I was able to gain a deeper understanding of how the company manages its products.
I also got to see the beautiful scenery around the warehouse, making it a very fulfilling day.
