I recently attended the IRIS exhibition, and I’d like to share my impressions.
Overall, the exhibition was very interesting and I learned a lot.
They were displaying popular buttons based on menswear, womenswear, and different clothing styles and color palettes.
Buttons are small, but there are many different kinds. As fashion designers also say, simply changing the button can make the overall style completely different.
One thing that left a particularly strong impression on me at this exhibition was two points.
The first was that they displayed the production process of buttons made from various materials. I was very impressed and learned a lot. I was able to gain a deeper understanding of buttons.
The second was that IRIS places great importance on environmental protection. They were using discarded buttons to create very delicate and beautiful earrings.
Earrings made from garment buttons have been very popular in recent years. If you’re interested, definitely take a look at this IRIS series.
They also use discarded buttons as recycled materials. This really shows why they are a major company.
IRIS holds an exhibition every year, and it also has a button museum. If you’re interested, I highly recommend participating and learning more.
