What exactly is BOA?

The word BOA clearly comes from the Latin word for "snake." 

Originally, it was made from curled sheep wool or other fur, but now, due to cost and SDG considerations, fur boa is not common, and boas are usually made by weaving pile into the base fabric and then shearing off the top of the pile. Some BOA are made mainly from wool for the warmth and natural feel of fur, while other BOA are made mainly from polyester for functionality and lightness.

4-Way Stormfleece™ is a versatile double-face knitted fabric with good stretch, water resistance, and breathability. The pile on this double-sided boa is slightly shorter. Since both the front and back of the garment are boa, it can be worn as a single-layer item. Also, the water-repellent finish is fluorine-free, so it is an eco-friendly material.
