This is a material made by laminating three layers: the outer layer, the middle layer (special materials such as a special film), and the lining layer.
The special film in the middle layer gives the fabric both waterproof performance and breathability, helping prevent moisture from building up inside garments. It is both waterproof and less likely to get sweaty.
Although it is mainly used for outdoor apparel, its functionality has led to increasing use in urban settings as well.
There are also 2-layer and 2.5-layer versions. The reduced number of layers makes the material lighter, but because the special film is exposed, it may feel uncomfortable when worn.
*Please note that this is a special material and stitching will basically leave needle holes, so only a limited number of factories can sew it. In the product planning stage, you need to confirm a factory that can handle sewing and secure availability.
