Hello everyone, I’m Dong from ApparelX’s International Strategy Office.
Today, we’d like to introduce interfacing from Tokai Thermo, a very popular maker in Japan.
This fusible interfacing is light, soft, and crisp, with the best loft in the series.
Because it uses a special weave, its fullness is 1.5 times that of Tokai Thermo’s previous interfacing made with the same yarn.
Because there is some space between the yarns in this interfacing, it has a very plush feel, eliminating the stiffness typical of fusible interfacing and giving the fabric a natural, refined structure.
Seeing is believing; below is a comparison between the newly developed RE3030 and the previous model.
The left and right samples use yarn of the same thickness, and the interfacing has the same length and width. The result is clear at a glance: the new RE3030 on the left is thicker and has more space.

Using an interfacing with loft like RE3030 gives even relatively thin cotton-linen materials a crisp feel, making the jacket both structured and comfortable to wear.

So what do you think? If you’re looking for an interfacing for suit jackets made from cotton, linen, or similar materials, don’t miss RE3030. It’s available at ApparelX—please take a look!
