Hello, this is Kayaba from the ApparelX division.
At ApparelX, we are currently expanding our fabric lineup.
Today, we would like to introduce Styletex textiles, which handle high-quality gabardine materials.
It was established as the sales division of a textile factory that manufactures coat textiles for one of Japan’s well-known coat makers.
The high-density coat textiles, the result of years of accumulated experience and technology, are highly regarded both in Japan and overseas, and have been used by maisons and collection brands.
At Styletex, production is carried out consistently from yarn dyeing to weaving, with thorough quality control in each department, enabling the stable supply of competitive textiles.
The textile newly listed on ApparelX this time is Styletex’s standard gabardine textile.
Here are its appealing points.
One of the greatest enemies of cotton coat textiles is fading caused by sunlight, isn’t it?
If lightfastness is low, the textile may yellow or fade to white.
The four Styletex product numbers listed this time are dyed by yarn dyeing so that the color reaches the core of the yarn. In addition, by using sulfur dyes and sulphur dyes, they have high lightfastness and durability that can withstand years of use as a coat.

As you can see in the image, different-colored yarns are used for the warp thread and the weft thread.
Since there are more warp threads than weft threads, the color of the warp thread forms the base, and depending on the angle, the color of the weft thread faintly appears, creating a deep iridescent effect.
Not only dye fastness, but also this kind of color expression is a unique feature of yarn dyed materials.
Styletex’s gabardine material is originally woven at a high density and also offers excellent wind resistance, but by further applying a water-repellent finish, it has achieved water repellency grade 4.
Grade 4 means that water does not wet the textile surface, as shown in the image.

All four product numbers registered this time meet this Grade 4 standard.
*Although the effect of the water-repellent finish is reduced by repeated dry cleaning, Styletex textiles still maintain Grade 2 even after three dry cleanings.

This is a 100% cotton, yarn dyed, high-density gabardine made with Giza cotton. It is characterized by its deep color, sheen, and luxurious feel.
The yarn is dyed with sulfur dyes, which offer excellent lightfastness, for light to medium shades, and sulfur dyes for dark shades.
This is a popular gabardine used by many maison brands.

A "yarn dyed, high-density, lightweight gabardine" woven with extra-long staple cotton and polyester. By interweaving polyester dyed yarn in the weft thread, it is less prone to wrinkling and feels lightweight. It also has deep color, sheen, and a luxurious feel created by using different dyed yarns for the warp and weft.
The cotton in the warp thread is yarn dyed with sulfur dyes, which offer excellent lightfastness, for light to medium shades, and sulfur dyes for dark shades.

A "yarn dyed, high-density memory-touch gabardine" woven with polyester in the warp thread and extra-long staple cotton in the weft thread.
By interweaving dyed yarns of different colors for the warp and weft, it is characterized by deep color, sheen, and a luxurious feel. The cotton in the weft thread is yarn dyed with sulfur dyes, which offer excellent lightfastness, for light to medium shades, and sulfur dyes for dark shades.
By using polyester in the warp thread, it is less prone to wrinkling and has a memory-touch finish.

A yarn dyed, high-density gabardine woven with cotton in the warp thread and silk and cotton in the weft thread.
The cotton in both the warp and weft threads is yarn dyed with sulfur dyes, which offer excellent lightfastness, for light to medium shades, and sulfur dyes for dark shades.
Silk (spun silk yarn) is used in the weft thread. By interweaving Kyoto Matsumura’s silk, which is used by many maison brands, the product is characterized by sheen, suppleness, and a luxurious feel.
You can feel the moist, refined quality of silk.
It also has the sheen and suppleness unique to silk, giving it a flavor that sets it apart from other gabardines.
What did you think? High-quality textiles that are also yarn dyed coat textiles tend to involve minimum lot sizes due to dyeing lot requirements and similar factors.
At Styletex, by stocking standard products in-house, the standard product numbers listed this time can also be sold by the cut.
If you are looking for outerwear textiles, please consider them.
