Products made by reusing PET bottles, as well as recycled wool made by shredding wool products for reuse, are typical examples.
In addition, functional materials such as SOLOTEX®—which uses bio-based raw materials for part of its components—are also drawing growing attention.

Although not a new technology, regenerated fibers are also gaining attention as environmentally friendly materials.
In particular, lyocell (TENCEL™) is a regenerated fiber made from wood pulp. Because the fiber cross-section is round, it has high strength and experiences little shrinkage or loss of strength when wet.
In addition, since the solvent is recovered and reused, wastewater is not released into the environment, making it an ecological fiber that is kind to the planet.
