Organic cotton has lower production efficiency than conventional cultivation methods, but by reducing the use of pesticides, it helps reduce health risks for producers and lessen environmental impact.

Wouldn’t products made with recycled materials be the most representative sustainable materials today?
Typical examples include materials made by reusing plastic bottles, and recycled wool made by breaking down wool products into small pieces and reusing them.
Also drawing attention are functional materials such as SOLOTEX® that use bio-based raw materials for part of their ingredients.

Although it is not a new technology, regenerated fibers are also gaining attention as environmentally conscious materials.
In particular, lyocell (Tencel™) is a regenerated fiber made from wood pulp. Because its fiber cross-section is circular, it has high strength and shows little shrinkage or loss of strength when wet.
Also, because the solvent is recovered and reused, wastewater is not released into the environment, making it an eco-friendly fiber that is kind to the planet.
