This time, we’d like to introduce Artémond, which has recently started being handled on ApparelX.
What is Artémond?
Artémond Co., Ltd. is a textile manufacturer headquartered in Osaka, with the keyword “materials that appeal to the senses.”
It has its own brand, Number 5 Collection®, and is particularly strong in home fashion materials.
In recent years, the company has also actively introduced sustainable materials and raw materials with traceability in mind, and is focusing on proposing materials suited to the times.
On ApparelX, we mainly feature standard plain products.

Products featured on ApparelX
Artémond offers an attractive range of fabrics suited to diverse uses and textures.
Below, we introduce the main series from Number 5 Collection.
●Art Satin Series ●
A wide variety of options, including the foil-like “Venus,” the dry-touch “Mars,” and the wet-feel “Orfes.”
Perfect for home and apparel uses where you want to add character to the luster, hand feel, and overall appearance.

A polyester material with an elegant sheen that evokes a foil finish.
Flexible, luxurious, and easy to handle, so it is also recommended for washable occasion items.

This luxurious embossed leather-look satin is made of polyester, so it has a supple feel and is easy to handle.
Its leather-like embossed texture, which remains even after washing, makes it perfect for apparel items as well.
●Soft Pile Series ●
A fluffy, heavyweight pile textile that showcases craftsmanship.
It adds a luxurious texture to cushions, bath towels, accessories, and more, so it is also recommended for loungewear.

[Soft, gentle touch - pile length 2.7 mm, industry weight 200 g/㎡-]
No-formalin finish, softening finish The pile surface is 100% cotton, with a fluffy, soft touch and absorbency.
Because polyester thread is used for the base yarn, it is less likely to shrink, has good fit, and is easy to wash.
The air layer between the piles also improves warmth retention, making this an all-season product that can also be used in winter.
●Soft Mesh Series ●
Functional materials such as “ECO Mesh” and “Milky Mesh” are made of 100% polyester and offer water absorption, quick-drying, and stretch.
Recommended for outdoor use, sportswear, and interiors where hygiene is important.

[Quick water absorption, sporty dry touch]
A supple mesh textile made with about 60% recycled polyester fiber.
The honeycomb structure on the surface gives it a dry, refreshing touch, creating a sporty look.
It has a special integrated structure with a "face fabric (mesh)" and "backing (fuzzy)" layer, making it easy to handle and not bulky. It is highly breathable and has a slight sheerness.
●Linen & Ramie Series ●
A canvas textile made with a linen and ramie blend, balancing a natural feel and durability. Suitable for a wide range of uses, including curtains, cushions, and tablecloths.

[A long-selling 100% linen canvas textile]
This linen textile is popular for its crisp, natural material feel.
Its excellent moisture absorption and release make it a year-round material for home fashion as well.
*Due to the characteristics of the textile, some nep (small fiber clumps) may be visible in dark colors.
●Polyester Series●
The lineup includes items such as “J Shantung” and “Tsumugi Cross.”
This series of textile is also suitable for use in commercial spaces such as hotels and Japanese inns, and offers excellent durability and washability.

Because slubbed thread is used for the weft thread, it has a refined material feel with firmness within its softness.
Since it is made of polyester, it is easy to handle, andbecause it has a no-formalin finish, you can use it with confidence.
●Hand-kneaded wrinkle finish series●
This series is attractive for its deep wrinkled texture and feel, including “Cotton Wash Finish II,” “Gauze Wash Finish,” and “Asuka Wash Finish.”
Recommended for interiors that want to create a natural, relaxed look.

[Double gauze textile with a hand-kneaded wrinkle finish]
This no-formalin-finish textile minimizes stress on the woven fabric after production, bringing out the natural texture of the material.
By adding a hand-kneaded wrinkled feel to the inherent softness of double gauze, it becomes a textile with a pleasant touch.
