About Sewing Machines

Back then, I was interested in handicrafts, and my best friend gave me a mini sewing machine as a birthday present.

After getting the mini sewing machine, I tried all sorts of things, such as mending school uniforms and making pet supplies.

It ended up all wrinkly

Using that mini sewing machine, I wanted to make cow-pattern gloves and give them to a friend, but the sewing did not go well and they ended up all wrinkly no matter what I did.

Looking back now, I think that besides problems with cutting and sewing, not having a lining was also one of the causes.

Through in-house training and reading ApparelX news articles, I learned the importance of lining and interlining.

For example, I learned that haircloth interlining is used to suppress wrinkles in jackets and give them a three-dimensional shape.

Uniforms for Middle and High School Students in China

By the way, unlike in Japan, many schools in China use clothing that looks like tracksuits as school uniforms for middle and high school students.

In Japan, that would mean going to school and attending class in loose-fitting tracksuits rather than the gym clothes worn for PE class.

And just as Japanese female high school students shorten their skirts, middle and high school students in China also often view uniforms as part of fashion and ask tailors to make the trouser legs narrower.

Considering durability, wrinkle resistance, quick-drying performance, and other functions, uniforms for middle and high school students usually use linings with a high polyester blend ratio, but the drawback is that they do not feel very good against the skin, so I used to cut the lining out...!
