Hands-on Experience with Various Processing Tasks!

I previously wrote a blog saying that I was sorting shipments, but the warehouse where the shipments are sorted also does processing work!

When I have free time, I do processing work while being taught.

The processing I have done so far includes tape heat cutting, zipper processing, and cutting chain.

Tape cutting means making the specified number of tapes at the specified length.

I cut while wondering what on earth these 200 pieces of tape at this length are used for!?!

It’s fun to work while thinking about what they’ll be used for, but since I don’t know the answer, I’m left feeling a bit unsettled (lol).

To cut the thickly wound tape efficiently, we set it up on this stand and work with it, but apparently this is a homemade handy item (?) made using a hand spinner!

I’m surprised that they would use the famously useless hand spinner in such a useful way!

Looking at the back, I could really see that it was a hand spinner, and it brought back memories...

There are many other homemade handy items too, and I’m just impressed by how they come up with them so well...!

Zipper processing is detailed work, so it can only be done well when you’re fully focused down to your fingertips.

But thanks to being taught the tips and key points, I was able to finish it neatly!

I was able to do the work of processing a 22 cm concealed zipper into 18 cm (1) attach a metal fitting at the 16 cm mark (2) cut off the excess part, but when I tried to cut the zipper with pinking shears...

It was really hard and I couldn’t cut it at all.

I struggled quite a bit, but no matter how hard I tried, it was impossible, so I gave up and this is the part being cut for me.

I couldn’t believe how easily they were able to cut it...

I want to become able to cut concealed zippers effortlessly with pinking shears too.
