Enclose the seam allowance with tape and easily finish the edge with a sewing machine.
This thin grosgrain tape makes it easy to finish the inner seam allowances of bags, backpacks, pouches, and other sewn items. It can also be used as edging tape.
How to use
• Cut the tape to a length that is 6 cm longer than the seam allowance section to be edge-finished.
• Fold the tape in half (half width) and lightly press a crease with an iron (low temperature/use a pressing cloth).
• Add an extra 3 cm to each end of the section to be edge-finished, sandwich it between the tape and wrap it, then temporarily secure it with a brace clip.
• Sew about 2 mm in from the side of the tape with a sewing machine.
