The coarse texture, including neps and slubs, is a distinctive feature.

Features / Notes
Woven in India, which has one of the etymological roots of the word “indigo” (there are various theories).
We paired the rough feel of hemp with a denim-like texture in the image of the material.

This product uses indigo dye for the warp yarns.
As a result, it will fade.
Please enjoy the changes over time.

HK2001.2002 are greige fabric, and HK2001W.2002W are roll-washed products.
Because greige fabric is left as woven, it is unrefined and may have roll wrinkles.
The shrinkage rate is approximately 10% in both warp and weft.
For roll-washed products, actual width will vary from the stated width because wrinkle control is unavoidable.
Sharp wrinkles are especially likely to occur near the selvedge.
Please understand this in advance.

Quality is controlled through inspection standards that differ from those in Japan.
Because natural materials, especially linen materials, are used, there may be nep and slubs to varying degrees.
If this occurs, please let us know before cutting.
