These enamel cufflinks are what Codis Maya does best. The Scroll cufflinks are designed based on a classic French Rococo motif. An asymmetrical design, with silver curved patterns incorporating the letters “single thread” and “C” on the enamel surface. Colored enamel glass crystals are crushed and mixed with water to form a paste. This is then precisely applied to the mesh of the design before firing at 800 degrees. It is then hand-polished to create a beautifully smooth, flat surface. This stage of the process is repeated three times, accounting for just 1/12 of the creation of these handmade cufflinks. Because it requires advanced skill, they are crafted by British artisans specializing in highly precise parts such as jewelry and precision machinery components.
The gemstones handled by “CODIS MAYA” use ethically sourced stones in accordance with CIBJO (The World Jewellery Confederation).
