An asymmetrical design features silver curved patterns incorporating the letters “single thread” and “C” on the enamel surface. Colored enamel glass crystals are crushed and mixed with water to form a paste. This is then precisely applied to the mesh of the design before being fired at 800 degrees. It is then polished by hand to create a beautiful, smooth, flat surface. This stage of the process is repeated three times, accounting for just 1/12 of the creation of these handmade cufflinks. Because advanced skill is required, they are made by British artisans who specialize in high-precision parts such as jewelry and precision machine components.
The gemstones handled by “CODIS MAYA” are ethically sourced in accordance with the CIBJO (the International Confederation of Jewellery, Silverware, Diamonds, Pearls and Stones).
